From a yarn to a towel: the quality control logic of the factory in 2018

You may have seen countless microfiber towels - on the shelves of offline supermarkets, in the tool carts of car wash shops, and on the hooks next to kitchen sinks. They look and feel similar.
But if you walk into our factory and see the complete process of the same towel from raw materials to finished products, you will know that the difference behind the same "ultra-fine fiber" is much greater than what it looks on the surface.

Started in 2006: a factory that only does one thing
In 2006, we established the first ultrafine fiber textile production line in Jiangsu. At that time, "ultrafine fibers" were still a niche concept in the domestic cleaning market.

18 years have passed. Our factory has evolved from a single production line with over a dozen people to a standardized factory covering an area of over 4000 square meters, with 60-70 frontline production and technical personnel. All processes from front-end finishing to back-end finished product packaging are completed on our own production line.

We have never deviated from the original direction: only making ultra-fine fiber cleaning towels. Kitchen use, car wash use, pet care use, industrial cleaning use - the categories are expanding, but the core process has not changed.

This focus on "doing only one thing" brings a set of production processes and quality control standards that have been repeatedly polished for 18 years.

Three international certifications: not just certificates posted on walls

For B-end buyers, these three certificates mean that there is no need to send people to fly over to inspect the factory again, and there is no need to worry about order compliance risks. For C-end consumers, this means that the towel in your hand is not just "easy to use", its production process can withstand international standards scrutiny.

The birth of a towel: six processes, each in one's own hands
Many people think that towels are just "cutting open the fabric and locking the edges", but the production of real microfiber towels is much more complex than that. Here is the complete production process within our factory:

Step 1: Whole Scripture
Arrange polyester and nylon yarns in a standard ratio of 80/20 and wrap them onto the warp with precise tension. This step determines the uniformity of fiber distribution - uneven tension can lead to uneven thickness and reduced cleaning power of the finished towel.

Step 2: Weaving
The warp enters the high-speed weaving machine, and polyester and nylon are woven together in a wedge-shaped composite pattern. The "split structure" formed at this stage is the starting point for the cleaning power of ultrafine fibers. Our weaving machines can produce fabrics of different weights ranging from 200 GSM to over 500 GSM, corresponding to the needs of different cleaning scenarios.

Step 3: Open the fiber
The woven fabric needs to undergo high-temperature alkali treatment to split the composite fibers of polyester and nylon - a single composite fiber instantly splits into 8 or even 16 independent microfibrils. This step directly determines the softness, water absorption speed, and stain removal ability of the towel. Insufficient fiber opening, no matter how high the weight is, it is just a facade.

Step 4: Staining and styling
Coloring is done in our own dyeing workshop, and then high-temperature shaping is used to ensure dimensional stability - towels will not shrink or deform after washing.

Step 5: Trimming and Edge banding
Cut and shape according to the order specifications, and then choose the edge sealing process according to different needs: edge locking, laser cutting without edges (Edgeless), ultrasonic edge sealing. This step has the greatest impact on the appearance and user experience of the finished product - we discussed in detail the significance of borderless craftsmanship in our previous article.

Step 6: Quality Inspection and Packaging
Each batch of towels undergoes three inspections before leaving the factory: fabric defect inspection, size and weight spot checks, and color fastness testing. Only after passing the inspection can it enter the folding, labeling, and packaging process, and be shipped globally according to the order.

From yarn to finished product, all six processes are completed in our own factory. This means:

No need to rely on external suppliers for scheduling, delivery time is controllable
Any problem in a process should be resolved internally as soon as possible and will not flow into the next stage
Customers can customize any specifications, colors, edge sealing techniques, and packaging solutions
In 18 years, enough time for a factory to learn how to make towels well. But what we value more is that when each batch of goods leaves the factory, customers do not need to worry about even a Dim sum.
